unWired TV Interview: Alyson Court (Claire ...

Chris!

I have to get in contact with my brother, Chris. I should've known. Just when we thought the nightmare with Wilpharma is over, now another nightmare begins with Tricell. It seems the all connections were lost contact BSAA, and it's no way of knowing what the Tricell would do. My only hope is to go to the head quarters of the UNWIRED TV, give them my story before it's too late.

Hi, I'm Alyson Court, and this is exclusive with Unwired TV.

>For the people that don't know of you, tell us a little about yourself?

I've lived on my life in Toronto, Canada. I started acting at the age of 10, so we want to tell everyone how many years that's been acting, but it's been a long time, my whole life. It's been a wonderful experience. I have had the opportunities to travel the world to work with people from every continent, and my love for this industry just keeps growing and growing.

Many people know my on-camera personnel Loonette, from the Big Camfy Couch, and I also have happy opportunities to do a lot of voice work, again I <???> eleven and I've worked on the shows like Beetlejuice, X-MEN, (STARWARS) EWOKS, of course doing a voice of Clair Redfield, and Resident Evil has been a blast, and I play on working in this business until I die.

>Tell us how and when did you get involved with Resident Evil

I played a role JUBILEE in the X-MEN Cartoon, back nearly '90s. And CAPCOM was making A MARVEL VS CAPCOM video game. They wanted to use the real voice actress for the series, so they came to Toronto, and recorded with all of us for that video game. That's I first got to meet CAPCOM people and that's how they established their connection with voice actresses, voice directors, and casting directors in Toronto. So for the next project, which was of course Resident Evil 2, they ended up using the same connections came back to Toronto. I auditioned like everybody else, and landed a part of Clair Redfield and of course at the time I had no idea what Resident Evil was, and had no concept of what was going to turn into and the...a huge phenomenon that it would end up being, is a lot of fun. And I thank CAPCOM for coming back to Toronto, I thanked really we surprised by the voice talent we have there. And there was a good relationship we built there.

> We want to know, will there be more of Alyson as Clair Redfield.

As long as the Resident Evil franchise is alive, I would be delighted to voice Clair Redfield.

>What do you think of Clair Redfield. Was it a tough role to act?

I've a lot respected Clair Redfield. I like the fact that she's been given an opportunity to grow through the franchise on first to meet her. She is a teenager. She is not a trained as police officer or anything like that but she is full of spunk, and she is very courageous, and when the chips are down, she really steps up to the plate. She is a fantastic character, and it's been a lot playing her.

>We last saw you in Resident Evil:Degeneration
can we expect more of your work in future Resident Evil films?

At the moment I'm not working on any more CG films, but hopefully the Degeneration will be very very successful, and CAPCOM will want to continue doing more films, and as I said I would love to be part of anything that the franchise does.

>You've placed an official seal on the character Clair Redfield
we at UNWIRED TV think nobody can replace you
What are your thought on that?

Thank you. I'm eternally grateful for all of the fan's loyalty and support from UNWIRED TV, and people all over the world who've stacked, but I mean, really appreciate the work to put into the character of Clair. I love it. Thank you guys.

>What are you currently working right now?

We recently finished the first two seasons of a spin-off from Totaly Spies! and the series called The Amazing Spiez! Some excited but that coming at this fall, as well you can <???> hear me and back ago seasons 1 and seasons 2. And before that, in still on the air, you've got Skyland, Urban Vermin, Spider-Riders, a few other things coming out plus there were a couple of pirates, that were waiting <get ring in it??>, and Angra Napkins which I encourage everybody to check out the pirates because it's absolutely <horrendous??>. And almost naked animals. Another really fan project which is close to be in turn into serious. Let's get stuff coming down the pipeline.

>Will you be in the new Resident Evil, The Darkside Chronicles?
Or is this just rumor?

Ah, finally I get to say this, now that the game has been announced at E3, Yes. I will be pleasing the role of Clair Redfield in Darkside Chronicles.

>Do you think your job is hard/how hard?

How hard is my job... you know that really depends on the project. When you have fantastic writers, and great team you're working with, it's not hard at all, because it's just so much fun and so inspirational that. Regardless of the task at hand, it has so it was pleasure to do. Now, not every project is as exciting as some, but playing Clair Redfield has always been a lot of fun. It was a bit of working beginning of really establishing her, her character in the independence because she was different from other video game characters, but I think CAPCOM for a... really letting me have a voice, and how Clair would've developed, and improved her as well. She's tough cookie, and I loved playing her.

>What advice can you give to all the viewers
that want to get into the industry?

Go for it. If this is something you wanna do, then what's stopping you? Anyone can do as long as you believe in yourself, and really follow your dreams.

>What is the inspiration to keep going your profession?

I hope to have been blast my entire career I've always had an exiting project to work on and it's kept me on going and there is never been any doubt in my mind something what I enjoy doing and something what I want to keep doing, and nowadays, with the Internet and with so many different cable channels out there shows that what I did many many years ago playing on the air, and my son is getting to experience that the project for the first time, and that is very inspirational to me. To see via fact, that projects I've involved with, they have on my son, it's... it's incredible, he... he really likes very my voice, he likes seeing me on TV and so as long as he is happy I wanna keep working making projects that he'll enjoy.

>Finally, what message would you like to tell all your fans?

I just wanna to say thank you for everybody showing so much support or loyalty towards me. It's been a blast, I love making things you guys enjoy. And I hope to keep doing as long as you guys are happy. And another thing, I've been becoming shy up until now about getting out there, but there some convention coming up and I really looking for getting out there and meeting everybody in person for the first time could be blast.
